The Pope Herding Cardinals

So I was listening to NPR last year about this time, and the former pope, Benedict, had decided to resign. He claimed that his resignation was prompted by God, who told him to do it during a “mystical experience”. I hypothesize that it may have gone differently. Here’s my take on it.
